My name is Leigh Willis.Ok, that was kind of obvious. But it's the best place to start, I suppose. I'm not very good at talking about myself. I'd much rather tell stories about someone else - their lives are much more fun and certainly far more interesting than my own, I assure you.
I grew up in a small town in Southeast Texas, preferring to curl up with a good book than to go out and do anything the other kids considered "normal". Going to the movies and hanging out at the mall was not my thing. Instead, I immersed myself in the pages of my favorite books and traveled to all the far away places that I so longed to visit with the most dashing, courageous men in the world.
When I was about 7, I read a book where the cowboy rode off into the sunset... alone. I didn't care for that much, so I decided to rewrite the ending. And I haven't stopped since. Although now, instead of rewriting someone else's ending, I write stories of my own.
I've recently decided to (attempt to) publish 3 of my novellas/novels, and this blog will be a log of my journey.
